Simulated Time Travel

Mathematicians aren’t software engineers and as such they tend to write unruly code that grows organically. This presentation explores what happens when foundational software engineering principles are applied to such code. With the first pass we find elegance, clarity and a surprisingly familiar structure. The second pass, however, shows an interesting result: time-travel.
